Youth protégé Ruben Loftus Cheek could be on his way out of Chelsea if a deal with Fiorentina is agreed. The Italian Club is set to take the England U-21 midfielder on a season long loan in a bid to boost his first team chances.
According to report in Italy, Fiorentina manager, Paulo Sousa is said to be keen on signing Loftus Cheek so as to have more midfield options.
The 19 year old Chelsea academy product has been tipped by Mourinho to make a stake in the first team this season having been instrumental to Chelsea U-21 youth success last season.
Loftus Cheek calmness on the ball speaks volume of the youngster whose performance against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Champions League spoke much about his quality.
Mourinho earlier this season promised to promote the lad to the first team as well as other performing young U-21. Most of them have been loaned while the Portuguese refuse to let Lftus Cheek go on loan.
With huge admiration for the central midfielder, Mourinho has also been his greatest critic., demanding more from the Englishman.
With the attraction of playing regular in the first team, Loftus Cheek might agree to move to Fiorentina in Italy to gain much football experience.
