Chelsea are confident Atletico Madrid will accept their offer for Filipe Luis.
The Daily Star says they are confident of landing left-back Luis after tabling an improved £15m bid. The Blues have upped their offer for the Atletico Madrid defender by £3m after their £12m approach was knocked back last week.
Atletico want £19m for the 28 year-old Brazilian. But the Blues are hopeful of agreeing a compromise price for Luis, 28, who is keen on the move.
Six Chelsea youngsters have turned pro in the last week.
Goalkeeper Bradley Collins, last season’s Youth Cup captain Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Kasey Palmer, Jeremie Boga, George Brady and George Cole all put pen to paper as they continue their development at the club.
Palmer was snapped up in January from Charlton Athletic.
