The last few days have seen Chelsea as one of the most active club’s in the transfer window following the abrupt capture of Pedro Rodriquez from Barcelona in deal that came as a surprise to the football world and the reported link of The Blues to Everton’s John Stones.
The acquisition of Pedro means there must be casualty in the squad of The Blues who will be left off radar in other to have a balanced squad.
It is understood that Mourinho is set to axe Juan Caudrado who has remained a flop for the Blues since his acquisition from Fiorentina in the January of this year. However, it is reported that Juventus are interested in securing the Columbian winger.
Cuadrado was signed for £23.3m from Florentina in January but he will now be allowed to move out of London to further his career following the signing of pedro.
It is understood that Chelsea have said they will only allow the player leave if only his suitors can pay same or above the price he was bought from Fiorentina.
Chelsea are now expecting Juventus to return for discussions regarding cuadrado’s transfer as Pedro will likely be giving the nod over every player for the right wing position in Chelsea which is also Cuadrado’s preferred position
