Having spent the second half of last season on loan in Bosnia, Croatian U21 shot stopper Matej Delac has completed a season-long loan move to FK Sarajevo to gain more experience and first team playing time.
According to Sky Sports, the 22-year old star will spend next season campaign with FK Sarajevo after an agreement had been reached between the two clubs.
“I’m happy here, because we negotiated a month and a half and that was the desire of the club, as well as mine, but it was a problem with the settlements. I’m sorry I did not come before, primarily for European matches.” Said Delac via Fk Sarajevo official website.
Matej joined Chelsea in 2010 from Inter Zapresic but he is yet to make any appearances for the Blues first team.
Delac will now join the likes of Dominic Solanke, Patrick Bamford, Marco van Ginkel on loan this season.
