Chelsea have officially completed the transfer of German attacking midfielder Marko Marin on a season-long loan move to Turkish side Trabzonspor in order to get first team football.
This was made known by Chelsea’s official website that the 26-year old German will spend the remaining parts of 2015/2016 campaign with Trabzonspor with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Marin moved to Chelsea in 2012 from Werder Bremen for £6million but has failed to establish himself as a first team player. Since his moved to Chelsea, the 26-year old German has spent most of his playing time on loans to various clubs across Europe such as Sevilla, Fiorentina and Anderlecht.
Marin made his first debut for the Blues in a League cup match against Wolves in 2012 and was also part of the Chelsea’s team that won the Europa League cup in 2013 under the leadership of Refael Benitez.
The attacking midfielder will now join the likes of Mohamed Salah, Juan Cuadrado, Lewis Baker, Isaiah Brown and Danilo Pantic on a season-long loan move.
