With agreement already made for the departure of Felipe Luis, Chelsea are now set to recruit another left-back to compete with the ever reliable Cesar Azpilicueta.
Luis played second fiddle to Azpilicueta last season, playing just 26 times and scoring a goal.
According to reports, the Blues are looking forward to secure the service of Galatasaray left-back Alex Telles after failing to reach an agreement with Augsburg for the signature of their Ghanian left-back Abdul Baba Rahman.
The 22year old Brazil international is reported to be on his way to SW6 and according to Gianluca Di Marzio, negotiation have started between both teams with only a few more details left to iron out.
It is reported that Italian giants Juventus and Inter Milan are also in the race for the signature of the defender but the Blues seems to be in a good financial position to sign the left-back.
The 5ft 11Brazilian defender joined Galatasaray in January 2014 and has scored twice for the Turkish giant in 57 appearances.
The 22 years old Brazil International would be a good replacement for Luis Imminent departure. He is still very young and still have room for improvement.
