"I Will Play For Chelsea Next Year" Claims High Rated Midfielder

Chelsea’s young starlet Lewis Baker has vowed to return back to Stamford Bridge as a better player after the end of his season loan spell at Vitesse Arnhem next year.

While speaking to the FA’s website, the England under 21 star believes his loan move to Dutch side has affected his game positively and he just can’t wait to bring on the best in him when he eventually returns to Stamford Bridge next season.

“I’m really enjoying it. The football is slightly different and is a lot more technical and tactical out there,” he said.

“When we play the bigger teams, it’s also a physical game and I think I’m going to learn a lot out there.

“I’ve already learned a lot in the first few months and hopefully that can increase and next season I’ll return to Chelsea as a better player.

“The Eredivisie is a top league and I think it’s a good learning place for me, on the pitch and off the pitch, seeing different cultures and the way players live with the different playing styles.

“It can all just help you as a professional and add little bits to your game.”

The highly rated midfielder made his first for the Blues senior team in 2-0 victory over Derby County in FA Cup in 2014, when he came in as a substitute for Brazil midfielder Oscar on the 87th minute.

Ever since then, the starlet has spent most of his playing time away from Chelsea with loan moves to Sheffield Wednesday, MK Dons and currently Vitesse Arnhem.
