After yet another disappointing outing in the prestigious UEFA Champions League game against FC Porto, Mourinho’s men would be looking forward to getting back to winning ways when the face Southampton this weekend in an epic EPL clash at Stamford Bridge.
The game has been tagged “a must win” for Mourinho after rumours suggest that Chelsea’s owner Roman Abramovich is losing his patients with Mourinho and that this weekend game could serve as a decider whether the Portuguese tactician will remain as the Blues boss or could be finding the exit door of Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho did not start key players in the likes of Eden Hazard and Nemanja Matic during the midweek game and as a result we expect some crucial changes to take place in the team’s selection for weekend match.
Mourinho has also been heavily criticized for leaving out skipper John Terry for their recent matches and as a result, we expect the 34-year old defender with great leadership skills to lead the team this weekend.
Brazil international Oscar would also be expected to be in the starting eleven with summer signing Baba Rahman coming in for Serbian defender Branislav Ivanovic after a poor display against the Dragons.
Here is how we expect Mourinho to line-up his squad against the Saint if he is to remain in his job and also put the Blues back into the EPL title race again.
