If reports by the Metro is anything to go by, Chelsea may be on the verge of signing highly rated Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester united target Alexandre Lacazette.
The highly rated young French international striker impressed last season for the Lique 1 side Lyon scoring a total of 31 goals in 40 appearances.
According to Metro, the 24-year old star is valued at £22million and the Blues are set to make an inquiry for his services after the horrible defeat they had against Manchester City last weekend.
Should this deal go through, Lacazette would have to compete with the likes of Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao for a starting line-up.
However, I don’t see Mourinho benching Costa for the 24-year old star but the tactician could possibly change his traditional 4-2-3-1 formation to a 4-4-2 formation in order to accommodate the French star.
