Latest report according to the Metro claims that the EPL defending champions have reignited their interest in signing summer target John Stones of Everton.
Although Everton boss Roberto Martibez has ruled out move for any of their key player such as John Stones this winter transfer window, it is however reported that the Blues have made a 44.2million offer for the star signature.
Strong, Physical, intelligent and with an ability to initiate attack from the defence line, Stones will certainly be a good addition to the shaky Chelsea defense.
The sensational centre back is seen as a long term replacement for ageing skipper John Terry who have less than a year left in his contract with the Stamford Bridge outfit.
However, Chelsea will have to battle European champions Barcelona and arch rival Manchester United for the services of the England international should the Toffees be willing to listen to offers for their most prized asset.
