With less than 22 days to the opening of January transfer market, rumours linking players to clubs have started and latest of such is that linking Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato to Chelsea.
The former AC Milan striker was linked to Chelsea during the summer transfer window, but the Blues boss Jose Mourinho, opted to sign Radamel Falcao as a replacement for departed Club legend Didier Drogba.
The 26-year old Corinthians forward has been spotted at Stamford Bridge, fuelling rumours that the star could join Chelsea in January, to possibly replace misfiring Radamel Falcao.
Pato’s agent earlier confirmed that his client could move to Europe in January, after having a successful loan spell with Sao Paul last season scoring 26 goals.
Should the rumour be truth, Pato could undergo medical with the Stamford Bridge outfit this week, ahead of January transfer window.
